USAW Event Sanction Info

Events - USAW Sanction & Insurance for Clinic, Tournaments, etc.

In order to obtain a USAW sanction and insurance for a event, such as a tournament or clinic, you must register that event and purchase event insurance through the USAW website.

  1. You must have an account with USA Wrestling in order to sanction an event. The cost is approximately $70.
  2. Go to https://www.usawmembership.com/login
  3. Create or claim your membership profile with USA Wrestling's Membership System.
  4. Follow the instructions in the USAW Wrestling Membership System Guide. Please see pages 26-29 on the USAW Membership Guide. Please click on this link for more instructions on how to purchase USAW event insurance.

  7. Be prepared to confirm the address listed on your USAW with a valid photo ID card upon request.
